The color lasts, lasts ... and lasts ...
I hate when the lipstick stops being visible on the lips just after an hour. I was looking for something really long-lasting, and finally a friend told me Revlon. This is the perfect solution for an all-night party, wedding or date. The lipstick stays on, and you cannot take it off without a good make-up remover. I am using two-phase liquid for eye makeup, because ordinary milk is not able to deal with it.
After applying, the lipstick sets on the lips at an alarming rate, so it should be applied very carefully, preferably starting with a very small amount of the product, and then add another layer to obtain the depth of color.
I think that instead of a sponge as an applicator, a brush would work better - it enables more precise application of the lipstick. I have the color of bloody red (Top Tomato), so every shortcoming is very visible.
After application, the color becomes matte, without any particles or gloss. (contrary to e.g. Lip Lacquer ARTDECO, which gives the effect of "wet lips"). Because of the creation of a fairly tight layer on the lips, Colorstay can cause them to dry out, and thus exfoliate together with the lipstick. This happens only when it's really long (eg 10 hours without corrections - yes, it can stay in good shape even that much :)) and after overdosing with the number of layers applied.
Nevertheless, I think its durability is invaluable. I can eat even fatty foods and drink without fear that I will ruin my make up, and I don't leave unsightly imprints on the glass. It is a pity that there are so few colors available in stationary shops - online selection seems bigger.
